Stanners was founded by three friends who share a deep love for golf and a commitment to protecting our planet. United by our passion for the game and our desire to make a positive impact, we spent countless evenings developing our idea. We planned each section of this business to maximise sustainability without compromising performance quality on the golf course. Our shared vision and dedication to both the sport and the environment have been the driving force behind Stanners.
Sustainability
When we set out to create our line of golf apparel, we knew we needed to find a fabric that would not only enhance your performance on the course but also minimise society's environmental impact. After careful consideration, a plethora of samples, and extensive testing, we adopted a fabric blend that perfectly aligns with our values. Our products are made from a combination of 50% Sorona (a plant-based polymer fabric that combines the properties of several fibres into a sustainable, high-performance material) and 50% recycled polyester (closing the loop on disposable fashion). This innovative material is not just about comfort and durability—it's a conscious choice for a better planet.
Impact
By using this fabric, we significantly reduce the environmental footprint of our clothing. The production process uses 30% less energy and emits 50% fewer greenhouse gases compared to traditional nylon. By implementing this composition, we not only enhance the quality of your experience on the course but also contribute to reducing the environmental impact of fashion consumption.
